These rubber bindings made by Faber Snowshoes out of Quebec are our preferred sloppy-weather bindings, and work well across a variety of footwear. Please see the “Video Demonstration” tab above for a detailed look at these bindings.
These simple bindings slip on and off with no adjustment requirements, and because they are waterproof, you can trudge through spring slush all day and not worry about finding a stiff, frozen mass the next morning.
NOTE: The flexibility of these bindings make them versatile for a variety of users and footwear around camp, but it also means they don’t work well for strenuous uphill use or toboggan hauling. These bindings will stretch under strain and cause foot slippage on the snowshoe.
