It is with mixed emotions that we return from our final winter trip of 2013.  We’re sad to see a great winter wrap up, but we’re also still on a bit of a high from all the wonderful adventures and fantastic folks that we’ve met.  Happily, we finished up with an exploration of Killarney Park under beautiful skies, with a fun-loving group of characters.  We were reminded again why the George Lake – Carlyle Lake corridor is one of our favourite winter weekends: creeks, lakes, a tough portage, a beautiful frozen waterfall and a perfect little beaver-pond campsite!
Check out the photos here, and thanks to Glen Schwendinger for the great campsite shot to the left.
