A 40-day snowshoe trek on the Fox, Kabinakagami and Kenogami Rivers in NE Ontario, 250km round-trip to the abandoned Hudson’s Bay Company fort of Mammammattawa. An exploratory trip on some exceptionally small rivers, and one of the earliest, warmest springs on record combine to create some very difficult travel conditions for the return home!
