A couple of problems with these made them unsuitable for our use in the field.

The one showed up with the wrong scale: Fahrenheit instead of Celsius.  So it’s never been opened.  It has a full wrap-around armored cover.

The other one does not have a full wrap-around armor.  The armor only covers a little over 180 degrees (as seen in the photo).  Coupled with the plastic case (pictured, included), it would probably be fine for use in the field, but we didn’t want to test it.
