We are officially in expedition mode! We’ve returned from our first ever, Lure Training Camp and finished it off with a 3-day tour of the surrounding area into the La Cloche Mountains. To see the photo album from our training camp click here.

For those of you last minute gear seekers, you may have to wait. We are back and forth from our expeditions and may be able to sneak out to the post, but don’t hold your breath. If you aren’t in a rush, please do make your order and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We have turn around time in between the expeditions so we may be able to accommodate.

We are excited for this upcoming weekend because it is our first basecamp adventure at our new home On Golden Pond! We are working hard to have the guest tent looking as homey as we can so our guests will never want to leave.

Hey folks,

We are visiting family from the 22nd- 28th and will not be able to get any new orders out for you. If you have already made your order there is a really good chance that while we are drinking eggnog we will be sewing away on it! So if there is a mistake or two we will blame it on the lack of lighting and such..

Update December 1st: Hey folks! We are working away using fingers and toes to get your orders out to you as fast as we can. Our final workshop of the season wraps up Dec 7th, after that we’ll be working full time on filling website orders.   Our final mail run before Christmas will occur on or around Dec 19th, so please aim to have your Christmas orders in no later than Dec 16th.  

If you have any concerns about shipping times or possible production delays, please don’t hesitate to call or write.  Some of our products are a bit back-ordered, but many others are still going out within a day or two.  

A special note: The longest list we have right now is for winter moccasins. So if you really want some, know that it is our bottle neck right now so they might not make it to you in time for Christmas. Unless of course you want to make them yourself! Our DIY Kits for all of our products are still flying off the shelves and into the post so we can get them to you into our next mail run.

Our Mitten Making instructions have been completely overhauled for the upcoming year with numerous improvements.  Our mitten kits have also gotten better with a brand-new, very thick wool for the liners.  Our single layer mitts are a great weight for a general purpose mitt in cold conditions, and our double-layer mitts are extremely warm mitts for low-activity in very cold conditions!
