This trip takes us into the heart of the world’s largest old-growth Red Pine forests. Join us to explore the expansive lakes, tight creeks and small ponds of Temagami’s southern end.

Join us as we explore the great Red Pine forests of Temagami. We will spend 8 days traveling some of the most renowned old growth forest in Canada. Big wide open lakes, some rough and tough portages, great fishing potential and beautiful old growth forests.  What’s not to love!?

This week-long, travel-oriented trip starts and finishes in Sudbury, Ontario.  The Sudbury airport has regular flights from Toronto and other major airports.

Temagami Wilderness: Wolf Lake is home to the largest old growth Red Pine forest in the world!


A moderate level of fitness and a great attitude is required for this expedition. We are looking for people who are able remain flexible throughout the trip. We also require expedition members to contribute as much as they can and in their own way with camp set-up, travel and being a positive presence for the rest of the team!
